No. Individuals who are selected to serve as a ZCM are not employees. They are independent contractors. This means that they are in business for themselves. They can get all of the tax advantages of owning their own business.

There are several ways that a ZCM can earn money from their site;

The ZCM, as Ad Sales Manager, is free to sell advertising space on his/her pages. Any ad space that you sell will earn you 50% commission. If you sell 12 ads per page times 15 pages times $25 per ad per month will earn you $2,250 per month.

We can also produce a list of all zip codes within a certain radius of a particular zip code. For example:

You will receive 50% commission on sales for your pages and 25% for ads placed on other peoples pages.You can probably retire if you find an advertiser who wants to place an ad on all 15 pages of each of the 33,507 zip code sites (502,605 pages)!
